More than 4,600 tonnes of chicken have been produced in Primorye since the beginning of the year. Preserving the region’s leading enterprise has more than doubled output.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Primorye Territory, the region’s main chicken producer is currently Agroptitsa LLC. In just six months, the poultry farm in the settlement of Zavodskoy produced 3,300 tonnes of meat. The remaining output comes from Ussuriyskaya Poultry Farm LLC and KH Viktoriya LLC.
“In total, more than 4,600 tonnes of chicken have been produced in Primorye since the beginning of the year, 220% of the figure for the same period last year. Egg production also increased by 11%, to 170 thousand eggs,” the specialists noted.
AgroPtitsa LLC was established on the basis of the bankrupt Mikhailovsky Broiler enterprise. Its first chilled products reached shop shelves in January this year. Under the state programme for Agricultural Development in Primorye Territory, the enterprise receives poultry-meat production subsidies.
