The first imported shipment of meat products this year arrived in Khabarovsk Region

Last week, Rosselkhoznadzor’s Primorsky Interregional Directorate inspected the first imported consignment of poultry meat to arrive in Khabarovsk Territory from China since the beginning of the year. Chicken leg quarters and duck fillets weighing a total of 88.8 tonnes arrived in Khabarovsk Territory on 9 January, accompanied by agreed veterinary certificates. In accordance with Russian veterinary legislation, the imported products underwent additional laboratory tests at the Khabarovsk Reference Centre of Rosselkhoznadzor, a Federal State Budgetary Institution. The tests confirmed their quality and safety. The entire imported consignment of poultry meat has now been released for circulation. In total, 4,606.8 tonnes of meat products, mainly chicken, arrived in Khabarovsk Territory from China in 2023. China is expanding the range of meat products imported into Khabarovsk Territory.
