Poultry farms in the Astrakhan Region increased egg production 1.6-fold in 2025 compared with 2024, reaching 416 million eggs, the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries told Interfax.
As reported earlier, the positive trend last year was linked to the resumption of operations at Vladimirovskaya Poultry Farm LLC after quarantine measures ended. At the same time, annual egg demand in the Astrakhan Region is approximately 247 million eggs, so the region is fully self-sufficient in this product.
“In 2026, we plan to maintain the current level of egg production, in line with the 2025 figures,” the ministry said.
Three large poultry farms specializing in table-egg production operate in the Astrakhan Region: Kharabalinskaya, Vladimirovskaya and Alanar Agro LLC.
