Nearly 140,000 eggs were brought to Krasnoyarsk Region from Uzbekistan

Another shipment of hatching eggs has been imported into Krasnoyarsk Region from Uzbekistan for subsequent rearing at a local poultry farm. On 20 December, specialists from the regional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor carried out veterinary checks on the shipment of 139,680 eggs.

The eggs underwent the required tests for salmonellosis, Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis, as well as wet disinfection.

Documentary and physical checks found no violations of the requirements of Russian Federation or Eurasian Economic Union legislation.

In total, 17 shipments of hatching eggs, comprising 2,798,280 eggs, have been imported from abroad for the region’s poultry farms this year.
